Remote Online Notarization (RON): $25 per act
Mobile Notary
Typical travel/mileage fees
- Flat travel fee: $25–$100 (depending on distance & location)
- Mileage fees: $0.50–$1.25+ per mile beyond a base radius
- Example in Virginia: convenience/travel $85+ plus $5–$10 notarial act fee
Service Add-Ons (Extra Fees)
In addition to notarial acts and travel, many mobile/full-service notaries charge for ancillary services:
Service Typical Fee Printing (per page) $$0.10–$1 per page Document Printing/Preparation (bulk)$25–$50+ Scanning / Scanback$15–$45 Notary Witness Service (when extra witnesses are provided)$25–$50+ Document Shipping / Courier$10–$50+ Waiting Time Fee (if client is late)$15–$50 per 15–30 min
After-Hours, Weekend & Holiday Fees
Notaries often charge premiums if you need service outside normal hours:
- After-hours (evenings): +$25–$100
- Weekends/Holidays: +$10–$50+
- Same-day rush requests may have similar higher charges.
Loan Signing & Specialized Packages
- Loan signing (purchase/refinance): $100–$250+
- Commercial loan signing: $250–$400+
- Healthcare/Power of Attorney packages: $150–$300+
(These are higher because they include document handling, verification, and courier work.)
